The Good Idea is a sustainable merchandising company – which might sound contradictory but actually isn’t.
Twenty years’ international experience in 35 countries around the world, a supply chain and a series of projects that are increasingly sustainable. Their journey has been a demonstration that big changes take place one step at a time.
The first step was the move to chance the company into a benefit corporation. We then moved to calculate the corporate carbon footprint and to the consequent impact neutralisation through compensation projects. Together we have reached small, but significant, milestones such as Ecovadis and B Corp certification. This two-year journey has seen the commitment of everybody who works at The Good Idea united in working towards a company that is thoroughly sustainable.
We accompany the firm in constant research and development into sustainable materials and responsible supply chains: from Fairtrade cotton to regenerated leather, and from jacron to Ocean Bound plastic.
The idea of Rebrain stems from that, from the team that accompanied The Good Idea in its transformation process: we wanted to spread the spirit to other companies, making possible a kind of change that many people feel is irreconcilable with business.
